The last couple of weeks have been really busy with school starting, celebrating Emily's 9th birthday, and "socks"(Emily's kitty) ran away.
Emily started the 4th grade on August 3rd. She was very excited to go back to school, to learn and to see her friends again.
Rylee started pre-schoool, she loves going to school(she thinks she is now a big girl just like Emily)
We celebrated Emily's 9th birthday on August 13th. She had a wonderful day and thanks to everybody who helped make her day very, very special.
Mom made some apple looking apples for Emily's birthday. The kids loved them.
Emily's kitty ran away but luckily with some flyers that were pasted out to the neighbors and a call to the pound, "socks" was returned to our family once again.
About 30 hours later we were reunited with "socks" again. A neighbor didn't know it was our kitty and took "socks" to the pound(he didn't have any ID tags on him). Mom decided to make a call just to see if they happened to have "socks". They said that somebody just brought in a kitten, to "socks'" description, they told us to come in and check him out. I was so excited that they could possibly have "socks". And they did and we now Emily is so glad to have her kitty back. We are all glad to have "socks" back. Now the kitty's have collars and ID tags on them.
Rylee loves her kitty "Lizzy". "Lizzy" likes to be on the garage's counter and get fresh water from the sink.
